Mountain Homes is a log home company specializing in hand crafted, one-of-a-kind structures that will last for generations. We build from the very best Douglas Fir logs available, with an assortment as broad as your imagination. We have built homes from as small as 500 square feet to over 13,000 square feet, and they have been shipped all over the world, including Japan, Wyoming, Colorado, Hawaii and the San Juans. If you are looking for a log home constructed of full-length, massive logs from the Pacific Northwest, painstakingly scribed and cut into a work of art, then we may be the perfect fit for you.
Mountain Homes is owned and operated by Kevin Moehnke, a log crafter for over 19 years with hundreds of projects completed. We are more than just "log home" guys - most of the log builders are journeyman carpenters with a broad range of construction expertise. This diversity enables us to consider many variables throughout the design and construction process. Kevin runs the log yard and oversees every log that is shipped out; making sure your project is everything you would expect from a quality log home company. Our log yard is set up specifically to build log shells and their components, and we have a 50 foot sawmill capable of milling logs up to 28 inches in diameter. Our facilities also include a tower crane capable of building several homes at once, or one large structure over 180 feet in length. In short, at Mountain Homes, we have all the tools to turn log and timber into your dream home.
The Mountain Homes crew takes great pride in each and every project built, always developing lasting relationships with our clientele. We build anywhere from 5 to 10 projects a year depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which enables us to maintain a genuine personal touch and ensure the level of quality our customers have come to expect.
